Judith Moomjian, MPA, RN, CPHQ, FACHE, is a Principal Consultant for Joint Commission International (JCI), a division of The Joint Commission. In this role she teaches the international JCI standards and survey process to healthcare organizations globally, and helps to prepare them for accreditation readiness. She also assists organizations with Clinical Care Certifications, Quality and Safety processes and other endeavors to improve quality of care and patient safety. Prior to consulting she was a Joint Commission Surveyor in the US, a VP for Quality and Regulatory Affairs, and an Executive Administrator in major tertiary hospitals in the New York region where she lives. She also worked many years in clinical nursing and nursing management prior to moving on to executive leadership and her present career in consulting. Judith is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality through the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), a Six Sigma Certified Yellow Belt and Change Agent, and has held multiple clinical certifications as well.
